Tanner Andrews kept the Springfield Sliders (29-29) off the board during his six innings of work and the Kokomo Jackrabbits (29-30) beat the Springfield Sliders, 2-0.

Andrews struck out six and allowed no walks and five hits.

Connor Jacobs allowed two earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Nick Martin improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Jacobs ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year.
