The Chillicothe Paints (34-20) put in a full day's work in a 14-inning, 6-5 win over the Richmond RiverRats (20-32) Sunday at VA Memorial Stadium.

With the score tied at five in the fourteenth inning, Matt Eppers came to the plate and singled, scoring Justin Dages.

Derek Hendrixson struck out 10, paving the way for a the Chillicothe Paints win. Hendrixson allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks over six innings.

Brian Mroz (1-3) took the loss for the Richmond RiverRats. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
