Austin Muench went 2-3 and hit a home run as the Springfield Sliders (24-28) took home a 3-2 victory over the Terre Haute Rex (39-12) in seven innings at Robin Roberts Field on Thursday.

Connor Jacobs picked up the win for the Springfield Sliders. Jacobs pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk while striking out three.

Jordan Tackett was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
