Nick Moore collected three hits as the Richmond RiverRats (14-25) took home a 4-2 victory over the Jamestown Jammers (21-20) at McBride Stadium on Thursday.
He singled in the first and second innings and doubled in the sixth inning.Cory Craig kept contact to a minimum, striking out seven the Jamestown Jammers batters. Craig allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk over seven innings.
Jake Swiech ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
