The Hannibal Cavemen (9-27) and the Kokomo Jackrabbits (21-20) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Hannibal Cavemen that eventually took advantage of them in a 2-1 win at Kokomo Municipal Stadium.

Ryan Snyder did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Hannibal Cavemen, reaching base three times. He singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

The Hannibal Cavemen relied on Zach Carstens to eat up innings en route to the win. Carstens allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Ryan Fritze pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, five hits and three walks while striking out one.

Fritze was charged with his second loss of the year.
