Jonathan Weeks went 2-3 as the West Virginia Miners (22-13) took home a 4-3 victory over the Chillicothe Paints (17-17) at Linda K. Epling Stadium on Saturday.

Jake Belinda allowed two earned runs, four hits and six walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Jason Byers kept the West Virginia Miners off the board during his seven innings of work. Byers struck out three and allowed three walks and four hits.

James Doubet improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the West Virginia Miners. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Steve Huber ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
