The Champion City Kings (12-20) and the Richmond RiverRats (12-20) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Champion City Kings capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-5 win at Davidson Stadium.

Troy Paris had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the sixth and seventh innings and singled in the fourth and ninth innings.

Jonathan Figueroa brought the heat against the Champion City Kings during his outing. The Champion City Kings managed just one hit off of Figueroa, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 2 1/3 innings of work.
