Ryan Fucci collected three hits, helping the Champion City Kings (10-20) to a 5-2 victory over the West Virginia Miners (21-11) on Thursday at Linda K. Epling Stadium.

Pete Munger picked up the win for the Champion City Kings. Munger allowed two earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Caleb Smith pitched five innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out four.

Tyler Oglesby ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
