Dan Ward had three extra-base hits for the West Virginia Miners. He doubled in the first and second innings and homered in the sixth inning.
Logan Campbell pitched lights out for the West Virginia Miners. The Jamestown Jammers managed just three hits off of Campbell, who allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out five during his six innings of work.
Justin Fritts (3-1) took the loss for the Jamestown Jammers. He allowed nine runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out none.
