A magnificent effort by Tanner Allison led the Chillicothe Paints (14-9) to a 2-0 win over the Jamestown Jammers (15-8) on Tuesday at Diethrick Park.
Allison got the win for the Chillicothe Paints thanks to 10 strikeouts. The Chillicothe Paints' pitcher tossed 6 2/3 innings of shutout ball and allowed only two hits.
Adam Reuss allowed one earned run, eight hits and no walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.
Reuss couldn't get it done on the bump for the Jamestown Jammers, taking a loss.
