Ethan Larrison kept the Quincy Gems (9-12) off the board during his six innings of work and the Terre Haute Rex (17-4) beat the Quincy Gems, 5-3.

Larrison allowed four hits, no walks and struck out two.

Ricardo Ramirez racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Terre Haute Rex. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth innings.

Despite the loss, the Quincy Gems' Joseph Mercado dominated the Terre Haute Rex's batters, giving up three runs and striking out six.

Mitch Schulewitz recorded his second win of the year for the Terre Haute Rex. Schulewitz struck out two, walked one and gave up no hits.

Elvin Ramos was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
