The Quincy Gems (9-10) pounded the Hannibal Cavemen (3-12) on Thursday 15-7 at Quincy Stadium.

Villa racked up six RBIs on two hits for the Quincy Gems.

Jordan Harris put together a nice outing. The Hannibal Cavemen managed just one hit off of Harris, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six during his three innings of work.

Sam Griggs racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Hannibal Cavemen. He homered in the second inning.

Bill Oxford got his third win for the Quincy Gems despite allowing six runs over five innings. Oxford struck out nine, walked two and gave up five hits.

Ryan Furtney (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.

The Quincy Gems pounded the Hannibal Cavemen pitching, as six hitters combined for 12 hits, 11 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
