Chad Roberts went 2-4, sparking the Chillicothe Paints (11-6) to a 1-0 victory over the Danville Dans (8-9) on Tuesday at VA Memorial Stadium.

Tanner Allison pitched lights out for the Chillicothe Paints. The Danville Dans managed just one hit off of Allison, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out eight during his five innings of work.

Connor Grant put together a nice outing. Grant held the Chillicothe Paints hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Ryan Gaines ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed one run.
