Derek Moore held the Butler BlueSox (7-8) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Chillicothe Paints (10-6) to a 1-0 victory.

Moore allowed six hits, two walks and struck out two.

The Chillicothe Paints were led by Derek Hug's hitting. Hug went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the ninth inning.

Bryce Arledge got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Arledge struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Cody Jackson (1-2) took the loss for the Butler BlueSox. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
