Korie Vire went 2-3, helping the Terre Haute Rex (13-1) to a 5-1 victory over the Danville Dans (7-6) on Thursday at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad.

Jeremy Randolph brought the heat against the Danville Dans during his outing. The Danville Dans managed just one hit off of Randolph, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out none during his six innings of work.

Matt Wivinis ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
