The Richmond RiverRats make the most of 6 hits in 3-2 victory over the Jamestown Jammers

The Richmond RiverRats (5-11) and the Jamestown Jammers (13-4) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Richmond RiverRats that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-2 win at Diethrick Park.

Riley Futterknecht handled the Jamestown Jammers' lineup with ease, racking up five strikeouts. Futterknecht allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks over six innings.

Andrew Bramley was effective even in defeat, mowing down seven the Richmond RiverRats batters and allowing two runs.

Joe Pourier improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Richmond RiverRats. Pourier struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.

Hunter Jobe (2-1) took the loss for the Jamestown Jammers. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
