He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.The Hannibal Cavemen had no answer for Bryce Rainey, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Rainey gave up just three hits, allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out four during his six innings of work.
Jake Eikleberry pitched eight innings and allowed two earned runs, nine hits and one walk while striking out three.
Evan Warden got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Warden struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.
Michael Greene was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
