Bryce Tilton went 1-2, sparking the Lane (22-13) to a 1-0 victory in seven innings over the Linn-Benton (17-17) on Saturday at Titan Field .
He singled in the sixth inning.The Linn-Benton couldn't get anything going so long as Connor Mattison was on the hill. The Linn-Benton managed just two hits off of the the Lane's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his five innings of work.
A bright spot for the Linn-Benton in the defeat was Ian Scott, who allowed only one run while striking out seven.
Scott was charged with his second loss of the year.
