The Corban didn't stand a chance on Saturday, as the Linn-Benton (7-10) captured a blowout 11-2 win in seven innings at LBCC Baseball Field .

The Linn-Benton scored three runs in the fifth on the Linn-Benton scored in the fifth on an RBI double by Henry Rondeau, an RBI double by Jacob Musial, and a sacrifice fly by Luke Rappe.

Rondeau got a hit in each of his two at bats.

Jake Lessel brought the heat against the Corban during his outing. Lessel held the Corban hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five.

Ian Scott improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Linn-Benton. He allowed two runs over five innings. Scott struck out two, walked one and gave up three hits.

Rondeau, Musial, Eric Allen and Austin Kelly helped lead the Linn-Benton. They combined for seven hits and five RBIs.
