Saturday was a great day for Micael Taylor, as Taylor threw a shutout to carry the Wenatchee Valley (9-5) to an 8-0 victory over the Big Bend at BBCC Baseball Field .

Taylor held the Big Bend (8-9) scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on five hits while ringing up four.

Dehaas delivered a clutch walk off the bench in the three. His pinch-hit wild pitch was the key moment in the Wenatchee Valley's eight-run win.

The Wenatchee Valley blew out the Big Bend thanks to six hits, including zero extra base hits. A three-run triple by Hanson and an error helped the Wenatchee Valley score four runs in the fourth. The Wenatchee Valley had one hit in the inning.

Parker Stohr (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked four and struck out seven.
