An ace performance by Alec Kisena carried the Edmonds (15-6) to an 11-1 win in eight innings over the Bellevue (15-7) on Saturday at Courter Field .
Kisena got the win for the Edmonds thanks to nine strikeouts. The Edmonds' pitcher tossed seven innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.
The Edmonds blew out the Bellevue thanks to 13 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Edmonds scored four runs in the sixth on the Edmonds scored in the sixth on a hit by pitch, a fielder's choice, a two-run single by Jesse Moore, and a double by Jamie Umbinetti.
Umbinetti went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Edmonds.
Corbin Powers (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
