Bellevue vs SW Oregon: 7-11

The SW Oregon take out the Bellevue with help from Makita, 11-7

Kyohei Makita went 4-4 at the plate, helping the SW Oregon (19-26) to an 11-7 victory over the Bellevue (28-18) on Sunday at SWOCC Athletic Fields .

He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first, third, and sixth innings.

The Bellevue couldn't get anything going so long as Brett Pearson was on the hill. Pearson held the Bellevue hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Sam Finfer racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Bellevue. He tripled in the seventh inning.

Cody Rolshoven recorded his second win of the year for the SW Oregon. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered no hits.

Nick Kassuba couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Bellevue, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
