The Bellevue (28-17) and the SW Oregon (17-24) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Bellevue that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 2-1 win at SWOCC Athletic Fields .
The fact that the Bellevue grouped all of their runs into the sixth inning helped them take advantage of their hits.
It was a good day at the plate for the Bellevue's Trai Patrick. Patrick went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth inning and tripled in the sixth inning.
The SW Oregon's lineup had no answer for Marty Luckenbach. The SW Oregon managed just one hit off of Luckenbach, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out four during his four innings of work.
