The Bellevue (27-17) beat the SW Oregon (17-23) 14-5 on Saturday thanks to a seven-run eighth inning.
The Bellevue scored in the eighth on a two-run error, an RBI single by Alex Check, a two-run double by Clayton Huber, an RBI triple by Lawyer Braun, and an RBI single by Nathan Lorentz.
Check had two extra-base hits for the Bellevue.
Austin White did his best to jumpstart the offense for the SW Oregon, reaching base four times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh and eighth innings.
Brooks Hanson recorded his third win of the year for the Bellevue. He allowed one run over 4 2/3 innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered three hits.
Garrett Helfrich couldn't get it done on the hill for the SW Oregon, taking a loss. He allowed 12 runs in two innings, walked four and struck out none.
Huber, Braun, Check and Lorentz helped lead the Bellevue. They combined for nine hits and seven RBIs.
