Powers struck out 10 hitters en route to the the Bellevue win. The Bellevue's pitcher gave up just three hits over eight shutout innings.
Alex Galgano reached base four times in the game for the Bellevue. He singled in the eighth inning.
Myles Gouviea kept the Bellevue off the board during his seven innings of work. Gouviea allowed two hits, six walks and struck out four.
Brandon Gustafson (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
