A magnificent effort by Henry McAree carried the Shoreline (15-14) to a 5-0 win in eight innings over the Skagit Valley (14-18) on Saturday at Skagit Valley.

McAree held the Skagit Valley scoreless during his seven innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out eight.

Kyler Howell brought the heat against the Shoreline during his outing. Howell held the Shoreline hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Jacob Howard was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked six, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
