An ace performance by Colten Barnes led the Pierce (6-10) to a 4-2 win over the Everett (4-9) on Sunday at Mt Tahoma High School .
Barnes had an impressive outing against the Everett's lineup. Barnes gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his nine innings of work.
Andrew Barrera reached base four times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.
Trevor Cook racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Everett. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the ninth inning.
Kyle Francis (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
