Spencer Binnion collected three hits, helping the Columbia Basin (12-3) to a 5-3 victory over the Skagit Valley (8-6) on Sunday at Columbia Basin Baseball Field.

The Skagit Valley's lineup had no answer for JD Page. Page gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Joseph Doe had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Trey Smith was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
