Story by Narrative Science.

The Bellevue (8-2) and the Pierce (3-8) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Bellevue capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 3-2 win at Mt Tahoma High School .

The Bellevue relied on Corbin Powers to eat up innings en route to the win. Powers pitched 5 2/3 innings and allowed no earned runs, five hits and three walks while striking out four.

The Bellevue had no answer for Caleb Wallen, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Bellevue managed just two hits off of Wallen, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his three innings of work.

Matt Fish (0-1) took the loss for the Pierce. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
