Branden Cutsforth got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed one run over 3 2/3 innings. Cutsforth struck out two, walked one and gave up three hits.
Kyle Kornegay couldn't get it done on the hill for the Pierce, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
The Treasure Valley were sparked by Lane LaCrone and Leenknecht, who teamed up for six hits and two RBIs.
