The Tacoma (21-9) and the Pierce (13-16) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Tacoma that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-4 win at Minnitti Field .

Alex Hull racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Tacoma. He homered in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Dustin Wilson pitched lights out for the Tacoma. Wilson held the Pierce hitless over 3 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Despite the loss, the Pierce's Kyle Kornegay dominated the Tacoma's batters, giving up one run and striking out seven.

Zach Rohrbach recorded his second win of the year for the Tacoma. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered nine hits.

Austin Sisley (0-1) took the loss for the Pierce. He lasted just four innings, walked six, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
