The Vancouver Island and the Douglas (11-17) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Vancouver Island capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-2 win at Serauxman.

Stairs got the win for the Vancouver Island. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered nine hits.
