Seth Rayburn hopes every outing could go as well as Friday, as Rayburn struck out 11 batters to carry the Mt. Hood (21-8) to a 2-1 victory over the SW Oregon (10-18) at Mt. Hood in 11 innings.

A walk-off single by Nick Gawley gave the Mt. Hood the win.

Gawley had a hot bat for the Mt. Hood. Gawley went 0-4 and scored one run. He singled in the eleventh inning.

Isaac Benard got on base four times in the game for the Mt. Hood. He singled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Chase Wiger got the win, running his season record to 3-0. Wiger struck out two, walked one and gave up one hit.

Brett Pearson (0-3) took the loss for the SW Oregon. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed one run.
