Four first-inning runs helped the Green River (12-31) to a 6-2 win over the Grays Harbor (4-35) at Heritage Park on Sunday.
The Green River scored in the first on a two-run single by Demetri Shears, an RBI single by Alex Poltz, and a wild pitch.

Matt Seeley improved to 1-4 on the year by picking up the win for the Green River. He allowed two runs over 6 2/3 innings. Seeley struck out one, walked one and gave up six hits.
Elliot Mendenhall couldn't get it done on the mound for the Grays Harbor, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked five, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
