An exceptional effort by Harrison Bragg carried the Tacoma (24-9) to a 10-0 win in five innings over the Green River (7-25) on Saturday at Minnitti Field .
Bragg rocked the Green River with two home runs. Bragg went 2-2 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Bragg homered in the first and third innings.
Six runs in the first three innings helped the Tacoma blow out the Green River. An RBI triple by Alex Hull, an RBI single by Jake Vieth, an RBI single by Vieth, and a two-run home run by Bragg in the first inning fueled the Tacoma's offense early.
The Green River couldn't get anything going as long as Justin Vernia was pitching. The Green River managed just one hit off of Vernia, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his five innings of work.
Josh Broom (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 10 runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out three.
