The Lower Columbia jump on the Green River early and coast to 11-0 win

The Lower Columbia (16-7) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Green River (5-16), recording an 11-0 victory on Saturday at RAC (Lacey).

Seven runs in the first three innings allowed the Lower Columbia to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Chris Rogers, a two-run single by Rogers, and an RBI single by Rory Graf-Brennen in the first inning and an RBI triple by Seaver Whalen and an RBI single by Jake Bakamus during the second inning helped the Lower Columbia put some runs on the board early.

Conner Switzer boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Lower Columbia. He singled in the second and third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.

Alex Torson improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lower Columbia. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered five hits.

Travis Blough was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
