An excellent effort by Chris Petrosie spurred the Yakima Valley (10-3) to a 9-0 win over the Green River (4-11) on Saturday at Parker Field .

Petrosie held the Green River scoreless for seven innings. Petrosie struck out six and allowed one walk and three hits.

The Yakima Valley didn't let up, as they kept racking up runs until the end. The Yakima Valley scored three runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win.
