Brandon Zimmerman went 2-4, helping the Clark (5-5) to a 3-2 victory over the Wenatchee Valley (3-4) on Friday at Kindsfather Field .
He singled in the third inning and doubled in the seventh inning.The Clark got the win thanks in large part to Colton Krueger's dominant, eight-strikeout performance. Krueger allowed no earned runs on two hits and one walk over six innings.
Tyler Charlo brought the heat against the Clark during his outing. The Clark managed just two hits off of Charlo, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out three during his four innings of work.
Evan Johnson couldn't get it done on the mound for the Wenatchee Valley, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
