Ben Roquet went 3-3 at the plate, helping the Edmonds (25-6) to a 2-1 victory over the Douglas (8-14) on Saturday at Triton Field .
He singled in the second and fifth innings and doubled in the seventh innings.The Douglas couldn't get anything going so long as Chandler Arends was on the hill. The Douglas managed just two hits off of Arends, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.
A bright spot for the Douglas in the defeat was Cory Duggan, who allowed only two runs while striking out eight.
Brady Batt recorded his third win of the year for the Edmonds. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.
Duggan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year.
