The Edmonds jump on the Everett early and coast to 7-1 win

The Edmonds (32-9) jumped out to an early lead on the Everett (22-18) and captured a 7-1 victory on Sunday at Triton Field .

The game was decided quickly as the Edmonds exerted their will early with five runs in the first three innings.

A two-run home run by Conor Plaisance during the first inning and an RBI single by Vinny Catanzaro, an RBI single by Spencer Greene, and a sacrifice fly by David Garza in the second inning fueled the Edmonds' offense early.

Plaisance racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Edmonds.

Chandler Arends brought the heat against the Everett during his outing. Arends gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out one during his four innings of work.
