The Everett make the most of 4 hits in 2-1 victory over the Olympic

Story by Narrative Science.

The Everett (19-16) and the Olympic (12-26) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Everett that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 2-1 win at Everett Memorial Stadium .

The fact that the Everett grouped all of their runs into the first inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

Bryce Peterson was hot from the plate for the Everett. Peterson went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first innings and doubled in the third inning.

Alex Gray got the win for the Everett thanks to nine strikeouts. Gray allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk over seven innings.

Matt Noll led the Olympic's offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He tripled in the third inning.

Jerome Byndloss couldn't get it done on the hill for the Olympic, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
