Tate Budnick went 2-2 and hit a home run as the Everett (13-11) took home a 6-5 victory over the Shoreline (10-12) in eight innings at Everett Memorial Stadium on Friday.
He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the seventh inning.Brent Firth got on base four times in the game for the Shoreline. He singled in the second, fourth, and fifth innings.
Alex Gray improved to 5-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Everett. He allowed two runs over 4 2/3 innings. He struck out four, walked five and surrendered three hits.
Henry McAree couldn't get it done on the hill for the Shoreline, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked six, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
