An ace performance by Erik Herbranson hoisted the Thompsons River to a 5-0 win over the Big Bend (7-4) on Friday at BBCC Baseball Field .

Herbranson kept the Big Bend off the board during his seven innings of work. Herbranson allowed two hits, no walks and struck out seven.

L Simpson racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Thompsons River. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Chase Tunstall couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Big Bend, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
