A great effort by Stephen Parker carried the Clackamas (12-20) to a 1-0 win over the Chemeketa (15-18) on Sunday at Chemeketa Baseball Stadium.
Parker held the Chemeketa scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up four.
The Clackamas' Corey Wynant was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He singled in the first, fourth, and eighth innings.
The Clackamas had no answer for Carson Dwyre, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Clackamas managed just three hits off of Dwyre, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.
Dwyre (1-4) took the loss for the Chemeketa.
