Ty Deckwa went 1-1, sparking the Linn-Benton (11-10) to a 3-1 victory in seven innings over the Clackamas (5-16) on Monday at Clackamas Community College Sof.

The Clackamas couldn't get anything going as long as Ian Scott was pitching. The Clackamas managed just one hit off of the the Linn-Benton's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Jacob Tipton was effective even in defeat, mowing down eight the Linn-Benton batters and allowing three runs.

Tipton was charged with his first loss of the year.
