Jordan LaFave collected three hits, helping the Bellevue (8-2) to a 5-3 victory over the Yakima Valley (5-3) on Tuesday at Parker Field .
He singled in the first, fourth, and fifth innings.Zander Clouse put together a nice outing. The Yakima Valley managed just three hits off of Clouse, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his five innings of work.
Connor Anderson was hot from the plate for the Yakima Valley. Anderson went 2-4 and scored one run. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.
Alex Smith (0-1) took the loss for the Yakima Valley. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
