The Wenatchee Valley need walk-off single to beat the Spokane, 3-2

A walk-off single from Evan Johnson brought home the winning run for the Wenatchee Valley (16-19) in a 3-2 victory over the Spokane (25-13) at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium on Wednesday.

Johnson paced the Wenatchee Valley at the plate. Johnson went 1-5 and drove in one. He singled in the ninth inning.

Ryan Bird was hot from the plate for the Wenatchee Valley. Bird went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, fifth, and seventh innings.

CJ Gettman handled the Spokane's lineup with ease, racking up eight strikeouts. Gettman allowed two earned runs on five hits and four walks over eight innings.

Despite the loss, the Spokane's Adam Paulson dominated the Wenatchee Valley's batters, giving up three runs and striking out seven.

John Coutoure recorded his first win of the year for the Wenatchee Valley. Coutoure struck out none, walked one and gave up no hits.

Paulson (6-4) was the game's losing pitcher.
