The Mt. Hood (28-11) and the Linn-Benton (17-21) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Mt. Hood that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-3 win at LBCC Baseball Field .

Nick Gawley racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Mt. Hood. He singled in the seventh inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Despite the loss, the Linn-Benton's Cole Miller dominated the Mt. Hood's batters, giving up three runs and striking out six.

Seth Rayburn improved to 4-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Mt. Hood. He allowed three runs over eight innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Austin Kelly (3-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
