The Linn-Benton (17-16) didn't put up much of a fight on Saturday, as the Lane (21-13) cruised to a blowout 13-3 win in eight innings at Titan Field .

The Lane scored five runs in the sixth on the Lane scored in the sixth on , a two-run double by Trevor Casanova, a single by Darin Nelson, , a groundout by Kyle Henderson, and a double by Josh Overstreet.

Casanova did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Lane, reaching base four times. He scored two runs and had one RBI.

Jalen Fuhriman had an impressive outing against the Linn-Benton's lineup. Fuhriman held the Linn-Benton hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Shane Quarterley improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lane. He allowed three runs over six innings. Quarterley struck out six, walked none and gave up six hits.

Austin Kelly was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out two.
