The Linn-Benton (14-14) scored six runs in the ninth to cap a 16-4 win over the Clark (14-17) on Saturday.

The Linn-Benton scored in the ninth on an RBI single by Ty Deckwa, , an error, a sacrifice fly by Trevin Stephens, and a two-run single by Eric Allen.

Allen racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Linn-Benton.

Austin Kelly picked up the win for the Linn-Benton. Kelly allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Clark's Layne Sutten dominated the Linn-Benton's batters, giving up three runs and striking out five.

Sutten ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year.
